AMAZON has a brand new Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy game listed on its site right now for PS4 and Xbox One due for release in less than a month
It's possible that PS4 and Xbox One owners could have not one, but four new Call of Duty games to play this year.
That's if a new Amazon listing spotted by eagle eye fans is to be believed.
According to a number of online sources, a new listing has popped up on both the Amazon UK and Japan stores for a new Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy.
No speciic details are given about the game, for what currently looks like a placeholder on the site for the time being.
We'd wager it's also unlikely that Activision would roll out this highly requested trilogy, right in the middle of their DLC plans for the current Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 release.
It's still certainly possible that we could see a Modern Warfare Trilogy.
And it could explain why three of the most requested backwards compatible games for the Xbox One have thus far not been released.
In short, we certainly wouldn't rule it out, especially with Modern Warfare all but confirmed to be returning as a pre-order incentive for the new Call of Duty game leaked yesterday.
But until we see, or hear, something concrete from Activision, we'd suggest everyone take this rumour with a great big lump of salt in the meantime.
