Operation Dust Line trailer and release date REVEALED
UBISOFT'S tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege have just unveiled a brand new teaser trailer for the games next DLC release, Operation Dust Line.
Ubisoft has released the first official footage of Rainbow Six Siege's second DLC expansion, currently codenamed Operation Dust Line.
The 18-second teaser was first teaser on Twitter before being uploaded to YouTube.
Within the clip we get our first glimpse at Dust Line's new map, which appears to be set in a Middle Eastern setting that the Ubisoft team has promised will incite more of a chaotic experience for PS4, Xbox One and PC players.
We also get a brief look at the two new Operators joining the fight: Blackbeard and Valkyrie.
There's still no word on what the map is called though it's expected that there will be a live demo of the DLC during this weekend's Rainbow Six Pro League PC finals on Saturday.
The map will be free to all players at release.
However the Operators will be available exclusively to Season Pass holders for seven days before they're made available to unlock via in-game currency or upfront with the games microtransactions.
A release date has also been revealed by the Ubisoft team.
"We’re proud to announce that our next DLC, Operation Dust Line, will be released on May 11th. More info soon,” a message from the Ubisoft support team confirmed.
Community developer, Justin Kruger provided more background on the two new operators and map, telling fans: "It's a much different setting than Season One, which was cold and dark and isolated.
“This time, we're going to the Middle East.
"It's going to be a little more chaotic... In Season Two we have Valkyrie, and with these new operators we're introducing a lot of new things.
"We're introducing a new CTU, these are the Navy Seals, Valkrie is a defence operator and she's a equipped with a Spas 12, she has deployable stick cameras which you'll be able to throw to any part of the map.
