for the final mob movie
ROBERT De Niro, 72, and Al Pacino, 76, are set to make one last blockbuster mob movie,
A-listers Joe Pesci, 73, and Harvey Keitel, 77, are also up for the Martin Scorsese-directed flick.
The incredible line-up will thrill mob movie fans, with stars of Goodfellas, Casino, Taxi Driver and The Godfather series all set to appear.
De Niro will play Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran – a real-life hitman who claimed to have carried out 25 mob murders.
The script is based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses by former lawyer Charles Brandt.
He interviewed Sheeran a number of times before his death in 2003.
The title of the book comes from mafia slang referring to killings, where bullet wounds spatter blood across walls.
One Hollywood insider said of the movie, due to start filming in January: “This is a cinematic event that is likely never going to be repeated.”
